News and Updates
- I'm working on few updates that will make it easier to find all the different Django content across the web. You will start seeing more projects, tutorials, jobs and developers. Stay tuned for that.
From the Community
- Move a template tag library into builtins - Adam is prolific Django writer! Here is another useful tip from him. I know I'll start using it.
- Surviving Django (if you care about databases) - Written in 2020 by creator of the psycopg library. Interesting take on the unnecessary migrations module (which is love by many, including me) in Django. Interesting read.
- The Single Folder Django Project Layout - This is an idea I have been toying with for quite some time. I do have this App Fatique™. I am thinking of doing the next project with only one app to start with - core - and put everything there.
- Django Reversion + Wagtail = magic 🧙 - I've tried using Wagtail a few times but never found it intuitive to navigate. That post helped me a bit.
End Note
